Radio Forth is where it all began for me in 1990. Ten years later I took over the Forth 1 daytime slot and went on to host it for 17 years.

Over the years, there wasn’t an hour of the day I hadn't been on air at some point or another and there were many highlights including winning The Bighearted Scotland Entertainer of the Year Award and a Sony Award Nomination, but the one highlight that will be hard to top, is my wee internet sensation, “That's Fife”, which I first performed as a filler at The Radio Forth Awards in 2011 and went on to notch up over 200,000 hits on YouTube.

I called time on my Radio Forth career in January 2017 to take my 2016 Fringe show “Tales from Behind the Mic” on tour which ran for 13 nights across Scotland.

In April 2017, I joined BBC Radio Scotland and now host the Wednesday and Thursday editions of “The Afternoon Show” between 2pm and 4pm as well as the comedy panel show “Stop The Press” and “Grant Stott’s Vinyl Collective”.
